Here are a few more pictures from the truck.

Also I wanted to note that I added an automatic email option. You can subscribe to get any new post into your email box. It's on the right, top. You will have to confirm it thru an email and create a password, and than it will automatically email you. It's not to much trouble I hope. If anyone has a better way, please let me know.

Well we've had a few fun days here. Mark hit a deer with our truck Thursday morning on his way home from work.
About 5 am, on the freeway by Portland, not a good deal. It could've been much worse. Thank goodness for tow hooks, it speared the deer and kept it from coming up over the hood and sent it under the truck instead. It still did damage, but Mark was able to drive home and later to the police station to file a report, to Lansing to pick up a borrowed truck and out to the body shop. So thankfully he was fine, the insurance is awsome and taking care of all of it (State Farm). Thank goodness we have $0 deductable. With as many deer as we see around her, we figured it was worth the extra in premium when something did happen. We would still be driving it, if we didn't. We just had to have a new windshield not a month ago too.

So here are a few pictures, sorry it I made it sound worse than it was. It was very nerve wracking. There was even spots on the tailgate from the deer coming out the back of truck, so imagine what under the truck looked like. I won't go into detail, but the dogs cleaned alot of it off. Everytime we let them out to go to the bathroom.

Chronicles of a Pregnant Women July 17,2007

Well I had my first doctors appointment today. I am 10 weeks and 5 days today. Everything sounded and looked good. They were able to hear the heart beat, but not enough to count it.

I got a prescription for Singular (sp?) to take for a few months. My allergies have been horrible. I sneeze constantly and than my head hurts and it's harder to stay hydrated when your blowing your nose and it's running all the time. So we will see how it works. Hopefully I will feel better and enjoy the nice weather we've been having. So that's all for now, I've got to go take out the dumpster, I forgot to tell Mark and get back to work!

Actually this is the real reason I've not got much work done LOL!

Well I think the morning sickness has mostly subsided. It's so nice to be able to eat a meal with the family and still feel good afterwards. Although there are still some foods that just don't sit well, like meatloaf. Maybe is was the cheese I added to it, not sure. But anyhow we've been enjoying our patio, we eat on it everynight. It's much cooler than the house, and I can sit out there and watch the kids play too. That's nice, before there was really no nice place to sit in the shade, the ground is all lumpy under the trees. I can't post finished pictures of the patio until family comes to see it. Sorry!

I have my first doctors apt next Tuesday, so we'll see how that goes. I found the same midwife that delivered David in Okemos, so that makes me feel good. She was great!

We had a few extra kids from Thursday to Sat night, Marks sister was moving, so we had her older 2, they are 6 and 2. They did pretty good and had a ton of fun. They LOVED the water slide, I was exhausted when they left, but we had fun!

We got our 2nd file cabinet painted yesterday too, so I've been busy transferring all that stuff back. Since the 2 cabinets aren't the same size, I can't just leave it in the other one. The file hangers are to long, oh well. I have patterns to put in there and hopefully most of the stuff piled on my desk too. I also have a lovely mile high pile of baby clothes (in boxes) I've been working my way thru. I've been looking for all my baby girl clothes and finally found them They were in Sarah's basement, so they all got dropped off when she picked up her kids. I get to go thru them and sort out the ones I want, the ones that are to moldy and mildewed and the ones that will go into the garage sale this weekend. So I better get to work. It won't get done by itself LOL.

Happy 4th of July

I hope your all having a great holiday today, even if it only means you have the day off! That makes it great right?

Well we've been pretty busy here the last week or so, I haven't had much time to post everything I've wanted to. So I'll try to fill in some of the blanks.

I think I mentioned before that Mark is currrently laid off right now. He was laid off for a week in June, than worked one week and now has 2 weeks off. He works for a company that builds for GM, so all you GM workers know what I mean! So he has been taking full advantage of the time off and getting a ton of stuff done around here. First of course he finished the siding. That was a great accomplishment. WOW does the house look different. We pull in the drive and think, is this really our house? He also added a window to our kitchen, which I LOVE! It's so nice not having to turn the light on to find your way thru there. I don't think the light hardly ever is on during the day anymore.

We also got a new bedroom set a few weeks back, it is beautiful, it's our first matching set of anything. We've never even had a table and chair set. It is Colonial style with a 4-pollster bed, chest of drawers with a mirror and another dresser, tall with 6 or 7 drawers in it ,PLUS a night stand. It's gorgeous, we got it for FREE! Someone we know called us and asked if we needed a bed set. Well since ours was made from a menagerie of mostly old and falling apart pieces of various types of furniture, I said YES! So as soon as I finish getting that back together I'll get some pictures. We had a lot of rearranging to do to make it fit. And I had to go thru some stuff that needs to go to the shed.

On top of that the morning sickness makes everything difficult. Some days I feel just horrible. I'm starting to have more better days than bad, so that helps. Yesterday we were gone for most of the daytime, we had to make a trip to Owosso for a funeral. The kids stayed with their cousin while Mark and I attended the funeral and luncheon for his great grandmother. She was 94 yrs old. Honor Grice, her husband Ernest Grice is still going strong at 96. Next month they will have been married for 77 yrs. WOW! She'd been bed bound for some time now, so it wasn't to much of a surprise, they called the family last week to tell everyone she wasn't going to make it much longer. She passed away on Thursday evening.

Sunday evening we went and seen the fireworks in Ionia. I don't understand why they do them so early, but hey! We had fun. I don't remember ever having to have coats the watch the fireworks either. Here are a few pictures:

So I dont' know what we'll do tonight, maybe just hang out at home and play with the rest of the sparklers and poppers. The kids had a blast. David loved the sparklers, made me nervouse of course, but he did really well with them. We took some popcorn and donuts, and chips and pop and had fun! Memories!!

Well I think that catches you up to the patio. We got all the floor stuff and most of the sand and stuff. I'll add some pictures as we get it done. Here is one from earlier.

Well it took 3 try's to get this post done, so I'm ending it here and going to bed. Tomorrow is going to be just as busy. We have to go get more sand and finish the floor!

Good night.
